Sports Cat DP question.
Has anyone noticed a sort of ticking / sort of gruff noise when boost is building after having a sports Cat DP fitted (it is a twin dump deisgn). It is fitted on a UK 2002 WRX (with other mods including flexible up-pipe decat and decat centre sections). It only happens under lowish revs when giving full throttle but disappears as the revs rise and boost builds - it's more noticeable when the window is down and driving next to a wall / barrier (presume the noise is echoed back more).
Just wondering if this is normal - want to make sure the exhaust isn't blowing or anything else is wrong - car has done 39k miles.

Just posted on another post about a similar noise...
Mine has a ticking, tappety sound around 1800-2000RPMS only when you put the engine under load and only in 3rd or 4th. No noise when stationary and revving in any gear or clutch in/out.
Have it booked in to make sure its ok and I will post the results up...
