Default Walbro GSS341 Problem

Went to fit my Walbro GSS341 'uprated' fuel pump to my 97 JDM v3 sti only to find that it was about half the size of the job in there and had no chance of really fitting into the in tank bracketry.

Whats the beef here? thought these were supposed to be a direct replacement?

they are............it makes no difference re; the size it will just bolt straight on..............

Cheers mate - thought I might have some sort of wierd scoob one fitted - don't suppose anyone knows where a sutable plug for the wiring to it can be sourced??

if you bought a UK supplied kit then they are all included..................if not then i may have an odd one lying around?? would have to check the w/shop

Default fuel problems

hello mate
just had a scarey ride home very nearly didnt make it thought i was about to conk out,felt like a 1.1 nova, no power/splutering

have had fuel problems and was advised that it was the fuel pump and to give it a bash with a mallet cos it was sticky,got car going but then this happend so its staying on the drive until i get a new walbro unit,any idea where to get one at a desent price
also it will just replace the old one wont it
