If you go back to your original tuner it should be a "small" amount, if you go to a "new" one then he will have to start again as there is no way a second tuner can see the first tuners work.
i've been quoted 400+vat is that beacause they have to do the whole remap again? anyone ever have the map adjusted?
I had to have a map adjusted when i had a new turbo fitted and as i said it cost me £125, think they are try to have you over, are you going back to the place that done the original remap.
the cost is high for the initial remap (i.e licence) . . . .after that if you want to adjust because changes have been made or in your case you want the pressure cranked up then its only a small amount of the first initial remap say £100 - £150
