Default max power for ecu ?

After a little info


I have a MY01 Bugeye already mapped to 300 bhp
Just wondered what the max power output of my ECU would be i am looking to mod my car to around 380 BHP and want to no if my ECU can cope with this ?

andy f has a standard ecu on his 500bhp type r, so i think you will have no problems with 380bhp

Hi Trickie, your ECU will have no problem here, it's well up to the job.
Just add a TD05-18G turbo, headers, injectors (don't recall what intercooler you have ? ) and remap

Will the TD05 be running at max to achive this ?
Intercooler is STD but am looking at a STI8 one

Yes, the 18G version of the TD05 will be pretty much maxed out at that, although one of my other customers did make just over 400 bhp recently on his bug eye wrx using the same turbo with a fmic and supporting mods. It does however depend on the car (and the rolling road !)

Apologise for jumping into this thread, but do you have some graph's yet to see the differences from TD05 16g, 18g and 20g yet Andy?

I was born in Hull !!!!

I run a TD05 18G on a MY02 bugeye with the BHP you have in mind ............Turbo supplied by Andy F

The 400 plus Bugeye in question is probably Ninnybobs....
