Need some help please!!!

Only seem to have 0.5 bar boost for the last week or so, and boost gauge is showing i don't have as much vacuum either.

Engine is running smoothly, and there is no sign of any air leak.

A friend suggested it could be the ammell valve - but dunno what one of these is!!!!

Any ideas?

It may well be an airleak. I had this with mine and I was convinced it wasnt airleak, as I had checked. Had a close look and discovered it was the hose between throttle-body and i/c. I would check all hoses (inc under the i/c). If necessary remove and re-fit i/c.
