Changed TMIC on my WRX today for the STI8 version and it was pritty straight forward. Took it out for a test drive and noticed a whine/wheeze from 0.5-1 bar.

It sounded like boost leaking but boost gauge was showing normal boost levels. Anyhow when I checked I'd forgot to torque up BOV bolts still only finger tight...Ooooops...!

I'm just gald that's all it was as I'm having remap tomorrow..! (was having visions of IC having a leak, even though I tested it, by blowing in it).

Lesson learned..!

 

AT least you remebered to do the boost pipes up.. which is more than I did last week, damn pipe popped off.....
