Question help on new purchase of wrx.

help im just about to buy a wrx 1993 import 59.000 miles i will be the first owner in the uk.

ive looked at all the obvious things (body, ball joints, wheels,) ect.

but i no nothing about these engines or turbos?
is there any horrible noise from the engine or turbo that i should here that will tell me something is wrong.
there are no oil leeks that i can see. the car drives very nice (in a straight line).
and its very very very fast.
also will 97 ron fuel be ok from my local garage and do i have to put anything else in there.
please give me some advice before i buy it.
thanks.

might wanna stick the optimax stuff in it pal. dunno if its any good dint give me extra miles or owt nor performance wise just think its better suited to a import car either that or octane boost. mind you i'm not convinced this stuff is good for car.

did read some where about driving in 5th at 3000rpm and flooring it if the revs go up higher than speedo ( like stupidly quick ) then clutch could have a fault. might be worth getting a specialist to have a look at it if your not sure pal.

thanks for your advice.

a friend of mine as told me about the octane boost is this something that you have to put in and if so is that every time you fill up and how much does this cost?.

i will try the clutch thing.

also can you fit any uk stainless steel exhaust to these imports.

ive also been told that the radios dont work in the uk is this true.
