Default Rough BHP + Q's? Guestimates and help please!

Hi

My brother owns a STi 4 with a Full Blitz Nur Spec exhaust inc decat and it also has a Apexi cone filter/Induction kit. Other than this i beleive it is standard.

We think the boost is standard but are unsure - it overboosts to about 1.2 bar then drops down and holds 1bar all through the rev range. Is this standard?

Anyways he's had it looked at and told its a very strong/good example. We've had my g-tech meter in it before and had a 4.6 0-60 so not too bad as it was on 18's! What do people expect it to be pushing bhp wise?

The filter is new on the car and we beleive it has added power. Is this likely? Its an open filter running of the standard air feed.

Cheers

Tom

the engine in question:-

Depends on which rollers you take it to - take it North (Powerstation, Tewkesbury) he'd get 20-30bhp less than if he took it East (Power Engineering, Uxbridge). At PE, you might well see 300 on a good day, much less likely you would at PS.

PS Is he aware of the "local" website - www.scoobyzone.co.uk - plenty going on in the Bristol area on there

My STi 4 made 286bhp@1.1 bar with HKS decat+hyper muffler and a Apexi cone filter, at Enigine Advantages.

So i'd say it's around the 280-290 mark.
