Is there a switch sequence on the Control Unit that will turn off the Oil pressure audible alarm?

It's a bad design that allows the alarm to sound continuously when your parked up and listening to the radio..

The only simple answer I can see is to wire it to the second stage of the ignition so that it only comes on when the engine is about to be started. Is this possible?

 

i`ve heard the best way (without major re-wiring) to stop it from beeping is to press play back when the ignition is off and then hit pause.

Nice one. This did indeed stop the alarm.. it sits there flashing however, but it's a great answer for now.

I've emailed Defi direct to see if they have any trick alternative.. if so, I'll post back.. thanks for the tip..
