ive just been out for a quick spin, and after a few minutes noticed smoke pooring out of the scoop, on inspection oil seems to be bubbleing out of one side of the chamber where you top up the oil,some one please tell me this isnt going to be expensive.

I bet that you have a water leak somewhere rather than an oil leak. If so, it could be the rad split, the header tank split or the and the top and bottom rad hoses split. All have been replaced on mine! Each time the symtoms were belows of steam from the bonnet with people pointing and staring like my engine is gonna blow when the car is hot.
Dont worry mate, wont be too expensive. Keep an eye on the temp gauge though and your water level.
Take it for a run - pop the bonnet and see if you can see where the steam is coming from. Youll probably hear the hiss before you see it.

im guessing he means the header tank. Lets hope he aint put no oil in there!
