Urgent...prof's opinion please!
Car is MY03 STI with current mods
Spec C: sump pan - exhaust manifold - turbo (VF36) + H&S decat downpipe + APS TMIC + Walbro 255 (+APS standard CAI kit in the future).
All fine except it has the following problem.
With steady throttle at low rpms (say 2000) it hesitates and goes from 2000 to 2200-2300 and back.
We should mention here the factory O2 sensor is placed in the Spec C decat downpipe instead of the exahust manifold where all EUDM STI's have it.
Probably there isn't enough exhaust gas flow in this area so the factory O2 can't read correct, can this adjusted via the programm or is necessary the Spec C O2 sensor (and is actually different the spec C O2 sensor)?
The car will have a new remap next week from a well known and respected UK mapper, I just try to prepare it in case he can't solve the problem with the factory O2 sensor.
