I have recently had to replace the dump valve because the little pipe sticking out had snapped off inside the hose.

Had to drive about 60 miles before it was fixed, so am worried it may have caused damage to it.

Is this possible? And has anybody experienced that sort of noise from the dump valve? It only happens when I'm slowly approaching 2.5k revs. It's higher pitched and slightly rattlier.

Any help would be appreciated.
