I have heard of them, theres quite a few nitrous related spray kits, and something called CRY02, they all use a bar mounted on the bumper i think as the source for the sprayer

BUMP
I've now just got round to rigging up the STI waterspray to my FMIC.
However, when you first activate the spray you get a nice jet of water, but once the pump stops, the water keeps dribbling out until the IC water light comes on the dash.
How can I stop the flow of water once the pump stops ?

fit a couple of non-return valves into the pipework just before the spray nozzles
Can get them in Halfords for a couple of £££
Fit them with the arrow pointing the way of the flow of water when being sprayed

well after doing some searches here on SN, I realised that I had the one way flow valve sat inside the old tmic splitter.
After searching around the garage, I found it, removed it, fitted it onto the car and no more dribble

I've got a DO-LUCK waterspray controller I found in japan for sale.
One end plugs into a socket under the passenger side dash, the other end you need to tap into the boost part of the ECU.
You can then still have the manual button to press as per norma, but if you push and hold the auto comes on, and then you have a dial so you can set the boost level you want it to kick in on
