Default fuel cut?

Hi guys. I have got a 92 WRX which until recently was only running about 8psi of boost, I found the problem to be that the boost pipe connector on the ressonance chamber on the intake had previously snapped off and been badly repaired. So i got a new one, replaced all of the boost pipes from the solenoid and cleaned out the solenoid with brake cleaner. Now this is all done I am getting about 14/15psi of boost, the problem is when you stick your foot down in 2nd or 3rd gear then change up a gear and keep accelerating to full boost the engine cuts almost like it has hit the speed restrictor.
Any ideas?
what is the fuel cut on a 92 WRX? as I have heard many different suggestions.

Yes, Imprezas started in 92 in Japan. Anyway, yes, you are hitting the fuel cut due to overboosting. 14/15psi is too much. Your car should be 11.7psi ish. There is a problem somewhere. Check your piping and make sure you have used the correct size diameter pipe (not sure but could make a difference). Also in the old piping there would have been a little brass restrictor (in the bottom hose of the boost solenoid closest to the solenoid - i think) If this is missing it wont help your problem.
