Been looking to improve my system on my V2 STI JDM . I seem
to have a SS decat down pipe, HKS SS back box and the bit in the middle just looks like crumbly mild steal. It is very loud. Would it be best to replace the centre section with a SS pipe with maybe a box in to quiet it down a bit, or should I spend a bit more and get a new system( from the manifold back). In other words is the HKS box worth messing with quality wise. Cheers peeps

 

Can't really comment on the HKS one (although i know they are generally good), but i've got an afterburner centre section with de-cat and a Ninja back box. This is slightly louder apparently than having the Ninja centre section with de-cat and ninja back box as there is a silencer within the Ninja centre section. Sounds very very good though
