Powerwashing engine bay??
The engine bay on my Scoob is looking a bit dusty and dirty, can I power wash it when warm? Or what about using a hose pipe?
Cheers

I powerwashed mine ..... protect the alarm and intercooler rad. also plastic bags around electrical connections.
Run engine until hot, spray with engine cleaner (£1 a can from the £1 Shop!), allow it to soak for about 10 minutes, start engine and power wash engine bay (keep engine running!!) ...... plenty of steam should appear, close bonnet and allow the steam to continue cleaning the area (keep engine running)
Take car for a blast and ensure its all dry before turning engine off ... step back and admire your handiwork!

CD2 from Halfords gets a good write up ..... not sure how much it is??
Personally, I use 4 cans of Engine Cleaner from the £1 shop .... costs me £4, obviously. and it allows a good soaking to be given, it does what it says on the can - cleans the engine!!
If the CD2 costs £5 or less, it could be worth a shot!

good advise from Ps Lewis there..
Do mine regularly, especially after it decideds to dump the contents of the sump out of the breathers
Sometimes it will misfire if you play the pressure washer over the coil pack or plug leads too long.
They just need a blow dry afterwards (internally) to get it running smooth again.
