Hi all,
Planning to do my own 30k service and save some cash.
Need to know the following location of each job and proceedure.

Car is 02wrxUK

1. Gear box oil change
2. Diff oil change
3. Coolant change

Location of sump?
Correct proceedures?
Quantity and recommended type?
Do i need new washer/seal?

Any help is much appreciated.

Oil – remove under tray (4 bolts, 2 plastic clips and 2 self tap screws), undo filler cap, undo sump plug on sump (obvious) drain oil. Remove filter but pre fill new filter until full (this may take 30 mins to do) before fitting. Clean surfaces. Smear rubber O ring with oil and hand tighten. Refit sump plug with new washer that dealer should automatically ask you to buy with filter (mine always stuck it to the filter box). Refill oil in top filler with Castrol RS 10-60 until 8/10ths full on dip stick.

No idea about diff or gearbox as not needed to do myself yet.

Gearbox 75w-90 fully synthetic
Differential 90LS or 75w-90 fully synthetic suitable for LSD's
Engine 5w-40 fully synthetic
Coolant, just a good quality one really.
