Default removal of rear bumper (classic)

Well folks,

advice from scoobynet got my front bumper off a while ago, and now as some idiot has dragged the nose of their car down my rear bumper, it's time for that one to be resprayed too, so............

how do i get the thing off! if it helps, it's a wagon, dunno if it makes a difference. so basically, i need to know where all the panel clips and fixing points are and how to get at them.

thanks in advance

James

Not sure if its the same for the wagons but on my classic saloon you have to remove the rear lights to get to the grommets which run under the lights and the boot seal. Easier to push them out from beneath the car. And get some new ones to replace them as they can get quite brittle. There should also be a bolt holding the bumper on under both rear wheel arches and also one at the center of the bumper holding it to the number plate bracket.

Hope that helps a bit.

Cheers,

Rich

Yeah around the middle of the arch. One each side me thinks.
