Three holes on Inlet manifold... Boost source...?
Hi,
Can someone tell me what the three holes are on the top of my inlet manifold, on a 94 WRX… they are labelled with three letters E C V and the middle hole has a tube coming out of it.
The tube has a hose attached to it that looks like a vacuum line, is this where I would T into for my Boost Gauge…?
I know the later classic has a spare nipple already there, but the early imports didn’t… or at least I can’t find it!!
Please can someone help me out as I want to get my gauges in this weekend.
Cheers, Kim.

As your looking at it use the left hose mate.Try and cut it so it's not restricting airflow in any way.You can use any of them though.
Oh and make sure you don't kink the white vacuum hose you get with the kit as i did so the gauge didn't work

Cheers Alan,
That's what I wanted to hear, although you say use the left one...? I only have one hose coming from them three holes, the outside two aren't used at all... just holes?? is there any allen screws in them to block them up or do they need drilling...??
I'll use the middle one anyway, just wondered... I will let you know what reading I get when they're in but they sound right to me, as that is very similar to what my brother gets on his MY98... 25 vacuum 0 on throttle/off boost and 12psi on full boost.
Cheers,
Kim.
