Unhappy Help MOT Fail!!!

My 93WRX has failed its MOT on a leak from the steering rack. It has been leaking for a while. The last time i topped up the level was january and it is still fine. It seems to be a very small amount. Any way of sorting this out without replacing the rack. (the car is getting sold as soon as it has the MOT)

Thanks,
Barry

Can you not just stop the leak and clean up the area??

Think you can replace the steering box seal. Tried that on mine though and it still leaked, so ended up getting a second hand rack. Bout £50 quid me thinks.

Is it a big job to change the rack? Does a legacy turbo rack fit?

Thanks
