hello,

yes it goes straight to about 9psi and stays stuck there, no more and does not drop.
cleaned boost valve today and reset ecu, still only at 9psi.
any ideas ??

I fitted an EBC a couple of weeks ago and initially it didn't work due to a poor connection, when I ran the car (97 uk 2000) I also got 9 psi. This is because the boost solenoid is not working and the waste gate is opening, normally the solenoid valve would stay closed until the desired pressure of 12-14 psi, thus keeping the waste gate shut. Therefore this suggest your boost solenoid is faulty or not receiving power.

14.5 psi = 1 barg

so

9 psi = 0.62 barg
12 psi = 0.83 barg
14 psi = 0.97 barg
