Default Where can the Oil pressure be taken from ??

On a My94 Uk, are there any other point to take a Oil pressure reading from , Other than, The Original oil pressure switch point, The Sump Plug (adaptor Etc) Or a Filter sandwhich adaptor.
Is there a Point under the intercooler on the block somewhere ???

thanks

Dean

Why wouldn't you want to use the orginal point, with a T for the low pressure switch? There is a point in the block above no.3 that is just blanked off at the moment, this is normally used for oil temp tho.

Thanks Tony,
The sender unit i have is quite large & may foul the Alternator when in its adaptor, I had heard there was 1 else where,I wonder, Would you get the same pressure readings from the point above No3 as with the original point ??

Just thought it would save on wiring length.
Cheers

I bought a remote T-Piece and fitted it to the original oil pressure sender location. It was about £15 from Demon Tweeks I think.
