Default SIDELIGHT FAULT

MY SIDELIGHTS ARE STAYING ON WHEN THE ENGINE IS OFF AND NO KEYS KEYS IN THE IGNITION. THERE IS NO LIGHT ON INSIDE TO SHOW THEY ARE ON. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM CAN BE?

IF NOT, ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A MANUAL FOR THIS CAR AS HAYNES APPARENTLY HAVEN'T PUBLISHED ONE.

There is a switch on top of the steering column, this puts the lights on, idependant of the ignition. Have a look there.
