turbo intake hose, help please.
I have an MY99 with vf35 fitted and a BRD3 map etc etc etc.
I've just discovered the intake hose is split at the entrance to the turbo.
Are these easy to replace?
and
Can you buy uprated ones that are easy to fit??
Thank you.
Mark

No there not easy to replace at al removing the inlet manifold is the easiest way AFAIK.
Yes you can buy uprated ones, Samco, MRT and Prodrive all make them, the Prodrive being the cheapest Samco the most expensive, steer clear of the 2 ply Samco's as thay have a habbit of collapsing if you runnig higher boost, as i found out, Samco replaced it free of charge for one of the revised 3 ply parts and i've had no problems with it.
