Default fitting an FSE regulator to a 93WRX

Hi,

I have bought an FSE fpr for my WRX and i have had a scout around the engine, but i do not see the STD pressure regulator in sight. I located the fuel pipes by the filter and followed them to the underside of the Manifold. However not wanting to remove more than nessesary i thought id ask where it is before i go digging aqny further.

Also what sort of Pressure should i set it at?

The car is an early wrx-ra believe it is Not a red top.
Blitz Induction Kit.
H&S Down pipe.
Centre decat.
Afterburner Vortex Back box.
Apexi FMIC.
Blitz Dump Valve.
Walbro Fuel Pump.

with these mods the car overboosts severly. if i fit the std back box on it does not overboost.
i have a 1 Bar boost guage (Just ordered a new 2 Barone) and when it overboosts the needle goes about 45 degrees past the 1 Bar mark then cuts out.

I have also just bought an apexi SAFC and intend on buying an apexi avc-r today

Any info would be great.

Many Thanks
Derek Clarke

the standard FPR is just in front of the turbo on the fuel rail.

You best bet rather than messing around with the Apexi SAFC would be to get an Apexi PFC or some other mappable ecu fitted and mapped.
