depends on the supplier to be fair
i asked for a trade acount at the local motorfactors and they gave me this massive form to fill in which would give me an acount, and i couldnt be botherd with the hassle,
i get stuff under trade price on sum stuff from sum suppliers, others you would swear are marking you above retail

When you order, ask for the VAT invoice to made out to "XYZ" Motorsport. That way you get trade without looking like a pleb. (50% off in a Cafco/Edumds Walker type motor factor).
