is it worth while going from a td04 to a td05 on a uk 98 turbo without a remap

running full decat and induction kit,any advice would be appreciated

NO, good turbo will take a bit getting used to,but without any mapping it will be a weak spot for the engine

I ran a TD05 @ 1 Bar of boost, on a MY00 for a few months without a remap.

I didn't experience any problems

IMO, you should monitor your AFRs with a Wideband, and keep an eye on the Knocklink though

If you used a dawes device you should be alright until you get it remapped. And definately knocklink to be safe
