Question Question about Dump Valves...

I have a MY00 Turbo standard except a SS Backbox and a Blitz DV.

Since I have put the DV on, if I am in 3rd gear around 2.5 - 3K and try to nail it you can hear the DV open and release and the power does not respond very well for a few second then it shuts the DV and takes off.... is this normal...????

If I pull away and nail it through the gears it is totally fine and seems to pull harder than before :-)

Anyone know why it dont like low revs when in 2nd/3rd gear...????

Cheers Haxzer

If it's atmospheric (goes pssssht) throw it in the bin.

Have you tried building up the revs slowly maintaining a steady boost level and once you have the revs over 4k then open it up and see if it does the same
