Apexi Power FC??

Apexi Power FC??
I have a version 2 Sti Ra which currently has only an upgraded rear exhaust, a panel filter, knocklink, lambalink and boost gauge. I have a full decat(downpipe and centre) at home to fit and I am seriously considering getting an Apexi Power Fc and getting it mapped by AndyF.
Version 2 Sti Ra
TD05 Turbo
Full decat
Panel filter.
Just have a few questions,
Greenline have an offer going for the Apexi Power Fc which includes the commander for 79,233 yen. Is this a good offer?
Is the commander neccesary?
I would like to be able to have 2 boost settings and will this be achievable with just the apexi power fc and commander or will I need an AVCR also? Maybe 1.1 and 1.3 bar.
Will I also need to get a boost control solenoid?
Basically I would just like to know what you think is the best pieces of kit from the above to buy in order to achieve what I want.
Cheers.

The offer is good. You don't need to have the commander.
You can have two boost settings, but not two fuel maps.
The AVCR is a great addition to the setup as it can be set at different levels throughout the rev range, and supposedly for different gears (not sure how well the gear judge works though).
The AVCR comes with a solenoid. And many don't bother with the addtional Apexi one if they are running lower boost such as you require.
I've got the Power FC, AVCR and FC-Datalogit/Edit package. Well chuffed with it and ideal for an early car.

If you don't get the AVCR then you will need the commander to switch between a choice of 4 boost settings. The V2 is pre97 I think? in which case your OE 3 port soloniod is fine.
