Question Quick Boost gauge ques...

Hi,
Just quickly fitted a boost gauge to my car to see if it worked, it read -20Vacumn Pressure on idle, and 8Psi @6,000Rpm, this was when the car was stationary though and only quickly fitted, does this seem normal?

The Car is a 1997 STi Version III

The vacume pressure is correct on tick over (I get ~0.6 -0.8bar) and blipping the trottle should see ~0ve.

Bear in mind that there is no boost produced whilst as stand still, ie no load on the engine..!

Drive it and then see what's produced at full boost ~3k to 3.5k.
