Default What Ecu mods are avail for sti4 ?

Hi all

What Ecu mods are avail for sti 4 ? 2 door
drop in "chips"
a chip I can map and burn the eprom and fiddle with myself a bit gets preference, I have access to RR and the usual bits, like AFR and such

I dont want a piggyback, and dont want to hack the car to pieces fitting a sti6 ecu and wiring harness to get ecutek ability

Not many remap options for the MY97 / 98 really. Replacement ECU's are GEMS / MOTEC etc etc, and I think TSL have brought out a new product. Apexi Power FC's are popular on these model years, well worth a look.

I would go with an apexi Power fc, they are great at controlling the engine, have a good range of user adjustment using either the hand controller or third party software, and don't break the bank.

isnt the Apexi Power FC just a device that "plays with the MAF signal ?"

either richer or leaner ?
