Default "Lazy" clutch pedal

Got an occasional issue with my clutch pedal return. Symptoms are that on hard acceleration the pedal is slow to come up. It's not sticking or anything, just feels slow, like my foot is lifting off the pedal and it's struggling to keep up.

I had a leaking master cylinder, which was replaced, and I've checked the spring on top of the gearbox and pedal freeplay, which are all as they should be.

Would bleeding the clutch at the slave be a sensible next step in case there's a bit of air in there after the master cylinder was replaced?

Yeah, seems like the 'scoob version of the Flu - not fatal but a bit of a pain in the posterior.

I've seen a few different approaches to bleeding the clutch, is the following correct?

1) Remove TMIC (which I'm lead to believe can be a whole new world of pleasure)
2) Clamp slave in place to make sure I don't lose back pressure
3) Undo bleed nipple
4) Gently press in the clutch pedal until fluid runs out
5) Tighten nipple
6) Top up reservoir if needed
7) Keep fingers crossed

If anyone can verify that's the right approach I'd be grateful.
