Evening all i said a few weeks ago that i had my chek engine light on I did all the cheks and it showd nock senser the thing is the car isnt driveing at all diffrent i cant notice anything at all out of the ordenary the car is a w reg uk model with a full exhaust turbo back exhaust and dump vaulve thats it its always on optimax any ideas sorry bout some of the speling it aint my strong point thanks for any help or ideas

You wouldn't notice any difference with the knock sensor broken.
Get down to a dealer and hand over about £85 for a new one supplied and fitted

 

is ther no danger of det or culd it be just nakerd senser is it worth a knock link

 

I'm no expert but if the sensor is fooked then it can't make the necessary adjustments within the engine to avoid knock.
Drive off boost and have a new one fitted - and still get a knock link
