Flames and popping back are quite normal if you have a straight through/performance exhaust mate.

Misfires on damp days, poss coil packs.

What air filter you got?

Is it ok when the ngine has warmed up?

It could be (in no order) maf, lamda, coil packs, leads, plugs.

So would be worth getting it diagnosed before you spend the money...

When i had a HKS pod filter on, she was a pig to drive on a damp day, below half throttle she would die, so you put youre foot down a bit more...a bit more.... a bit more....aaarrrggghhh BRAKE! Used to keep me on my toes driving to work.

Eventually i tried the oe airbox on which i got with the car.....hey presto. runs like a swiss watch come rain or shine.

I dont like foam filters....they dont have good filtration capacity anyway.
