OK - You may have seen the story about my excessive amounts of oil that I estimated in the car.

Just been to Subaru to get them to check it out - Yes it was over full. They dropped the oil and replaced it all - Just charged me for the oil as they accidentally dropped the lot. I am quite happy with that though as it now has new oil and only cost £25!!!

Now the shocking part - The oil had been overfilled by an estimated 2.5litres!!!!!! It has been like that for possibly 2-3 weeks and supposed to have been serviced by a reputable specialist - My ****.

Now I am worried - Subaru reckon the engine could have been taken out quite easily. Will this have caused any internal damage. I bought the car from the same place that serviced it.

Could this be the cause of the slight hesitancy???

I am well pi**ed off with the garage!!!!

who was the "so called specialist"?? 2.5 litres is mad!
