How exacly did you plumb your MBC In? I've got one but I've been told It's connected In the wrong place.
I would have thought having more boost in higher gears would be more advisable as you tend to sustain maximum boost for longer durations In 5th gear.
As for your turbo kicking In at a later rev range, I don't know.

Hi
I Have The Controller Connected To The Wastegate Actuator On One Side
And The Boost Source On The Other (So I Think).
The Two Hoses Were Both Connected To Each Other So I Connected
The Controller In Between Is That Right?

When you say boost source, where exactly on the turbo Is this? I've been told It's a nipple on the turbo, but can't seem to find It. Mine has been wrongly connected In between the actuator and the boost sollonoid, so I've been told to blank off the sollonoid side (as this will not regulate the boost anymore obvoiusly) and connect one side of the MBC to the actuator, and the other to the turbo nipple.

hi.i had a boost controller fitted to my 93 jdm.try not to boost it above 1 bar thru all the gears and use some sort of octane booster or it will go pop eventually.you should really get the fuelling checked as well.engine rebuilds are quite expensive as i found out the hard way!!!!!!!
