Default Can I paint?

I'm about to put a later tmic on my 95 scoob. The intercooler I have is in good order, but looks a bit tatty. I was just wondering if I could smarten it up with a quick covering of paint?

I done mine about 6 months ago and it still looks like new, used a cellulose base coat and laquer, not heat proof or anything, and not had any peeling or blistering issues.

Don't put it on too thick, cos you don't want to be clogging the fins up and imparing the cooling efficiency.
