Default Waggon Tailgate Rattle!!

Does anyone know how to stop the tailgate rattling on a waggon????

I've tried adjusting the catch, I've put a couple of foam pads on the bottom of the tailgate but still the bloody thing rattles!!!!

Am I missing something????

yup, got the t shirt. I tried everything and thought it was the rod on the lock inside the door.
In the end i took some advice from on here and moved the catch in (which i thought was not adjustable) a few mm and bingo - no ratlles.
If youve run out of adjustment what i did to begin with was wrap some black tape around the catch to thicken it up - a bit cowboy - but hey it worked too.

We did the black electrical tape round the catch thing and it worked a treat.

Before that it drove me mental.

Good thinking, I'll try the tape thing tomorrow then..... Not afraid to use that stuff. You should see the amount of duck tape on my door speaker installs!!!!!

I have had this and it drives me sparko!!

What I have done just recently is put some sticky backed foam (closed cell) on the side black guides on the tailgate itself .... seems to have worked??

Sometimes its there, sometimes it isn't ....
