Default trouble with td05/06-20g and BC blitz...

hi !
i've a classic impreza 2.0turbo with many mods including a td05/06-20G and a boost controller blitz sbcid3 (and 550 injectors, remap....).

this turbo can make a flow very important as you knows ! and i think i've some trouble with the BC...i can't up to 1.25b without the BC don't work fine (i've boost cut very important in fact)...i've setting a set of 69 for 1.25b (15 for gain). I ask me if the flow isn't to high for the BC, and if i shouldn't put a restrictor into the turbo-soleno inlet, to make down the set at, for example, 50 or 55...what do you think about that ?

excuse me for my very bad english...but there's not many people in france who have this BC.....

550cc injectors are on the small side for a TD06 20g. What housing do you have the 8cm2? If so you should have atleast 650cc injectors. I bet your IDC is 100% at 5k rpm with your current setup.
As for your boost problem, how much boost does it make running wastegate pressure only?

And do not forget that since you've removed your previous "so good" boost controller, you have no more FCD (which is not include in the Blitz BC)

RicouGT,

I'm really sorry, but I'm not familiar with your boost controller.

The TD05 Subaru fitment is only available in one size, and I'm not certain why 550's would be too small, unless you were pushing the very limits of the TD05/6.

I'd be astonished if he was anywhere near maxing 550cc injectors at 5000rpm, on a 2.0lt, running 1.25bar.

If you raise the fuel pressure, 550's are good for well over 400bhp.

Mark.

There is some difference between the 550cc's.
I've maxed out the 550cc's at 1.3bar and an A/F of 11.5:1

Currently running 740's and these are allready at 82% IDC with an A/F of 11.3:1-11.5:1. I had serious boostcreep on the TD05/06-20G so that's why i'm running pretty rich at the moment. This week i'll adjust the A/F to 11.8:1-12.0:1 which makes the car go for sure past the 400bhp

A Friend of mine ran a td06-20 and PE 550's which seems to flow a lot more because he ran 1.3 bar on a 2.5 and had an IDC of max 95% and with the 05/06-20G he had even less IDC. For injector's it's PE the way to go or do as i did and take 740's from nissan

But back to the topic.....i don't understand his problem either
