poorly scooby
hello all. right im haveing a few problems with my beloved impreza, the other day the engine check light came on and a very helpfull chapy told me what to do to check the codes, did this and it came back knock sensor had a mess around under the bonnet, the light has been very intermitent since, so could this be just a dodgy sensor. Also my car has had a full turbo back exhaust fitted and just a dump valve. it has felt very slugish and unresponisve some time and when on boost it comes and goes makein me look like a plank rockin bakwards and forwards when tryin to go fast the car has 77000 miles and is a uk 00 model.
it has been to scooby clinic and when it was there they changed the maf lamba sens and put a new intercooler on it just standerd.
any help or ideas also any info on what i could get to keep an eye on things
thanks for any help dave

If the engine management system says its knock sensor is faulty, wouldn't it put the car in limp home mode until it was replaced? Could this account for your poor performance?
