I'm getting a Stainless manifold installed. Is it worth while to wrap it to insulate the heat? How can it effect performance as i i've read that it will cause more heat at the turbo because the heat will stay in the pipes.

It certainly does help wrapping the headers as it helps maintain the heat in the exhaust gases thus increases its velocity which will help maintain/improve the turbo spool

The headers that i have have an uppipe built in with a flexi joint in it do i wrap the flexi joint of leave it exposed?

It would be beneficial to wrap the headers up to the where the up-pipe joins the turbo if possible to keep the heat in as mentioned above and also to keep the heat out of the engine bay

You can buy from the states for about £190 . I tried this first, waited a month for delivery but they never showed up and i ended up getting a refund

may be a stupid question but will it make any difference if i wrap the pipes 2 at time rather than individually?

No wrapping 2 pipes together is fine, Air trapped between them is a good insulator too.
I wrapped individually because I thought it had less chance of slacking off / coming off if wrapped individually.
