Unhappy Steering wheel................

Nipped into Manchester on my lunch today, but instead of walking I jumped on a passing bus. To my dismay I noticed it had exactly the same steering wheel as my Impreza P1!

My questions is..........will a steering wheel off one of the new STI 8/9's fit the P1 as they look a bit smaller? Will the airbag work, if so will the plugs be the same and will the airbag light on the dash go out?

Cheers guys!!!

8 fits, but you must cut the airbag connector and fit the classic one to the new wheel's airbag. Keep your head out of the way when switching ignition on the first time

Default More steering wheel questions

Guys

Can I fit a new age STi wheel to my 2003WRX therefore getting the smallr wheel with the airbag? If so, any issues with actual fitting and operation of airbag? Likewise, will STi7, 8 or 9 fit?

Cheers
