Hi all
Basically my mates car is a bit "work in progress" The car is an Impreza MY00 turbo with a knackered gearbox (no second). We have finally sourced a new box but need to move the car about 10 miles to get it fitted, the only problem we have is that the car did have a Blitz boost controller but this was taken off and sold to finance a new Apexi boost controller (which wont be here in time to fit before the car is moved)
My question is...........can the car be run without any sort of boost control? How will I rig it up if it can? Not worried about any performance or even making any boost, we just need to get the car 10 miles.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Stu

you should be able to reconnect the original boost solenoid, assuming it was disconnected (by the drivers suspension turret) and the ECU will control the boost to original 0.9bar level.
I believe anyway
