Question power loss

i have a 96 import wrx and i had loss of power when in boost,when i stopped it was struggling to idle.removed the spark plugs and they were wet with fuel
has anyone experienced this and whats the cure to stop it from happening
again

I've got a similar problem I think.

Afraid to drive the car at the moment as the cause of the problem could be various things i.e. coil packs, maf sensor, lambda sensor, air leak and of course plugs and leads but they were changed about 12 mths ago.

Anyway car is going to AP Motors on thursday so they can have a look and sort it.

Hope you get yours fixed.

definently coilpacks - they become brittle. Had to replace 2 already.

i dont have indivual coilpacks its just one at the top of engine

ure engine light would be on if its any of those things
can u let me know wot was wrong with ure car when u find out

I'm pretty sure engine light comes on at failure not if it's on its way out.

Will let you know when I get it fixed what the problem was.

I can see big £ signs for this though!
