my scooby has failed its mot cause no cat.
so does anyone now anywhere in the leicester area where a garage can help me. or anyone who can lend me or buy a cat from to help me get me a mot.

i have both cats from a my 97 uk turbo if any good make me an offer theyre no good to me as sold car.

I have just passed my MOT with the same problem. But thankfully someone on here helped me through.
There is a technicality which you can get your car through the MOT without a CAT if produced before july 1995!!!
When the car is put onto the emissions tester and the model selection comes up it lists a 2000 turbo. The MOT handbook specifies that the model should be exactly correct. Hence my 1995 wrx sti is technically not listed on the model on the computer. In which case it is subjected to a standard emmissions test which does not need a CAT to pass (CO levels of <3.5% rather than with a CAT <0.5%)
