Default Turbo costs

Can anyone give me an idea to the cost including fitting of a replacement turbo on an impreza wrx 2002 model.
Rough estimate will do.

Also can anyone tell me what 6 monthly services are likely to cost ?

When I mentioned if I had to replace turbo in my bugeye, local Subaru dealer agreed it would be 'over £1000'. Why not get a quote from Len at 'Subaru4You' just to give you a ball park figure?

6 monthly service - just oil change? If you can source your own 5 litre can of oil (Opie Oils are good - say £30-ish for fully synthetic inc. postage), I would expect to pay £50 plus VAT to a reputable Subaru franchised garage or slightly cheaper £40 to Subaru specialist for the labour element of doing the six-monthly oil change, plus cost of oil filter and (optional -you decide) engine flush.

The Turbo on my classic was overhauled/serviced/balanced last year at a cost of £900.
