ae801 v ae802

Has anyone replaced there my00 ecu with a my99.I have read threads and i was thinking of putting a ae801 in my00,is there realy much difference?

Worth doing if you pick one up cheap enough. The Ae801 is a bit smoother a little leaner and hold bosst a little longer IIRC.
But a Dawes on the Ae802 will give more benefit due to it's richer fuelling.
