Default my sti,s too quiet

got an sti with ppp fitted but it does not roar like my old 94 L reg sti used too
any ideas on what too do ie back box de-cat (all double dutch to me ) and what sort of cost involved
Oh and does it affect warranty

www.scoobyworld.co.uk - afterburner vortex back box matey. Truly stunning sound and boost to performance. Just before I had it fitted to my old 03 STI I checked with the dealer. Informed me that only the part I was replacing wouldn't be covered under warranty (fair enough really) but may be worth checking with your dealer as some can be complete ***** apparently.

I have just refitted my PPP backbox and centre on my 03 STI(due to p/xing)
and I'm convinced that it runs a whole lot better now than with the aftermarket silencer and de-cat/de-res centre thats been on there for the last 10 months,

sorry to add confusion,maybe noise ain't eveything
