Default What clutch for a 95 WRX

My brother has a 95 WRX running about 260BHP, the clutch is starting to slip as the turbo comes in, so i was wondering what you guys would recommend as a replacement.

He has been quoted about 220 quid for an uprated one (not sure what make i wasn't there at the time)

So whats the next stage clutch step up from standard that would be recommended ?

Many thanks.

Dave

I`m running an ADL bleuprint clutch on my 95.
The clutch went at 80k.
Cost was £150 ish and my car is making just under 290bhp.

Any other opinions of what clutch and where to get one from?

Ideally an uprated one.

Try an AP one, I bought one with the organic friction facings a couple of years back and haven't had any problems. They aren't cheap though - you could try contacting http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/fra...p-clutches.htm for prices

Sorry for the late response..
ADL blueprint stuff is available all over.
Do a search on google.
PM if you get stuck and I`ll dig out my suppliers number.

I was told it was slightly better than a standard one.
It certainly looked well made, and better quality of contruction than the original one that came out.
You get a new release bearing too.
I was impressed for the money and it drives without any judder too.

The Borg & Beck (Exedy/Delphi) are also good value for money - About £120 from what I remember HERE
