Question Sti7/8 dials in UK 2002 WRX?

Hi all,

Has anyone fitted the STi7/8 UK dials to a std UK 2002 WRX? Does the connectors need cutting and what works and what doesn't?

I sold my STI7 dials to a guy in the US with a WRX and I believe it just plugged straight in... should be fine.

Ace...Do you think the shift light just works from the rev counter plug connection? There must be other connection(s) re the water spray warning light?

Do you have the email address for this guy in the states?

I believe there was a guy on here S600HBY (Mark) who had STi clocks in his WRX, he removed them & sold them in the For Sale section when he sold his car, might be worth a search. We have a set of 2003 STi clocks if you need them.

Hi Conrad,

How much for the 03 Sti clocks...take it they'll be the same fitting? Just want to make sure they fit without the need to cut wires...or at least only one or two wires...

Also, are they uk miles and whats the reading?

TBH I'm not sure of the reading (miles), the car was wrecked that we got them from, I believe they were around 3000 miles, thats what we told when we bought the gearbox and engine but dont hold me too that. The car wasnt very old at all. I have never had the clocks out of a WRX so I dont know if they are the same but i do know that Mark (S600HBY) deffo had them in his WRX, trying PMing him.

probably looking for £150 + VAT for them.

Cheers Conrad, I'll let you know as I've got another guy that has clocks in miles (5,000) and it's been confirmed...wouldn't want to buy a km set.

Cheers for your help Conrad...contacted Mark and he confirms fitting easy and no cutting...YES!

I've had a much cheaper price for a clock unit, so no thanks to buying it.

Top bloke!
